Vaults
A vault is a private space for one area of work or life. Create as many as needed. Invite people into a vault and they see its workspaces, pages and files. Each vault has its own storage, its own members and its own AI context.
Bring anything in
Upload any file type. Save links. Write notes. Import from Google Workspace and Microsoft 365. Create new Google Docs, Sheets and Slides without leaving the app. PDFs, Word documents, slide decks, spreadsheets, images, audio and saved web pages all preview in place.
AI that has read your vault
Ask a question and get an answer drawn from everything in the vault, with a link back to the exact source file. Two speeds: a fast tier for quick lookups and a deeper tier for real reasoning. Answers cite their sources.
Workspaces and pages
A workspace works like a workbook. It opens to a page, and its related workpages sit as tabs along the bottom. Pages are rich documents: text, tables, checklists, embedded files and images.
Card maps on the page
Drop a visual card map into any page. Cards can point at real items in the vault, carry status and priority, and connect to each other with lines. A whiteboard that lives inside the document.
Pen and ink
Draw and highlight directly over a page by hand. Mark up a diagram or think on paper without leaving the app.
Voice memos and dictation
Record a voice memo into a vault, or dictate straight into a page. Audio is transcribed so it becomes searchable text like everything else.
Search that reads inside files
Search covers titles and the contents of documents, with a live preview of the match in context. Text inside images and scanned PDFs is recognized on device, so a screenshot becomes findable by what it says.
Tasks and calendar
Tasks with due dates, projects, recurring schedules, reminders, snooze and bulk edits with undo. A calendar that shows task due dates and scheduled work in one view, with sharing and two way sync to Google and Microsoft calendars.
Built in browser
A real browser inside the app, so a saved link opens where the work is instead of in a separate window. Bookmarks, history and downloads included.
Gnosis in Finder
Vaults mirror to a real folder on the Mac. Pages appear as markdown files. Work with them in Finder, in any editor, or from the terminal, and the app stays in step. Locked vaults never touch disk.
Locked vaults
Any vault, workspace, folder or file can be locked behind a password. Locked content refuses to open until the password is entered, and unlocks end when the app quits. Protection against someone sitting at your laptop.
Sharing and collaboration
Invite people to a whole vault or share a single document, with editor or viewer roles. When a document came from Google Drive, access is mirrored there automatically so permissions stay consistent.
Connectors
Read only connections to Google Workspace and Microsoft 365 for bringing existing documents and calendars in.
Tabs, split view and quick open
Everything opens in a tab, like a browser. Split the window into two panes to work across a source and a draft at once. Quick open jumps to anything from the keyboard.
Daily digest and activity
A daily summary of what moved, what is due and what needs attention, plus an activity trail across vaults and a usage dashboard.
Import your chats
Paste or upload a Claude or ChatGPT transcript and file it into a vault as a note, so the thinking that happened in a chat window does not get lost.
